Former Cork Garda Walks Free From Court After Being Handed A Two Year Suspended Sentence
47 year old John O'Halloran, who was based at Barrack Street Garda station plead guilty to corruption, theft and deception charges.
Among the charges put to the former Garda, was one that he used Garda headed note paper and a Garda stamp to forge invoices to obtain money from a residents association.
The court heard a gambling habit had cost him his job and his marriage.
