Former Cork tailor says alcohol abuse landed him on the streets
A tailor who formerly worked for fashion designer John Rocha has found himself living rough on the streets of Cork... The man, known only as James, admits that alcohol has ruined his life and has left him with no home or job, little contact with his family and health problems.... 49 year old James, who has been homeless for over 10 years in Cork and now lives in at the Simon Shelter, says he took his first drink at 13 and it gave him great confidence but gradually he became dependant on it..
