Fred call it a day

Fred are calling it a day at the end of this year. The Cork band, which have been together for 15 years, have confirmed details of a farewell tour in December. They'll be playing Whelan's in Dublin on the 5th, De Barra's in Clonakilty on the 13th and Roisin Dubh in Galway on the 15th. The final ever Fred show will be in the Pavillion in Cork city on December 28th. It will be the first time in history that every member of the band - past and present - will share the same stage.
