French police arrest relatives of Paris bomber

Six members of one of the bombers family have now been arrested and a car used in the attack has been located.

Several people have been arrested in France and Belgium as authorites try to find those linked to Friday's terror attacks in Paris.

One of the bombers has been named as 29 year-old Ismael Omar Mostefai, who was close to radical Islam, but had never been linked to terrorism.

Six members of Mr Mostefai’s family, including his father and brother have been arrested.

Islamic State has claimed it was behind the attack which killed 129 people.

France has begun three days of national mourning today, in the wake of the Paris attacks. 

Leeside hundreds of people marched from the Grand Parade to City Hall yesterday carrying French Flags in solidarity with those in Paris.  The march was organised by the French Community in Cork.

Floral tributes have been placed at French embassies around the world and Irish flags will fly at half mast around the country today.
