A weather alert has been issued for Cork.
Met Eireann has updated the previous warning and Cork is now on a Code Level Orange wind warning.
Forecasters say southwesterly winds will gust up to 110 km/h overnight so caution is advised.
The warning is valid from midnight tonight until 9 o'clock tomorrow morning.
