Funderland Employee Injured In Cork

The Health and Safety Authority & Gardai were alerted and the injured man was hospitalised
Funderland has issued a statement to RedFM News after one of their employees was injured in an accident on the Tramore Road this morning
The company says that a man in his 30's who was working on the construction of a roller coaster was injured after he fell from a trailer used to transport components of the attraction.
He sustained fractures and injuries to his hand and leg and it's hoped he will be released from from hospital later today
The Gardai and the Health and Safety Authority were informed when the accident happened this morning and have mounted two seperate investigations
An inspector from the HSA has completed his examination of the scene
The roller coaster is one of the attractions being presented by Funderland at their new location on Tramore Road
