Funding boost for Cork County Council

Cork County Council is to get an extra €1 million for social housing. It will help the local authority provide additional homes to those on the current housing list. It's part of a €32 million funding boost announced today - a third of which is dedicated to homes for those with disabilities. The number of people on the housing list in Ireland has risen dramatically in the past two years.
