Fundraising For "Bumblette" To Transport Sick Children Across Cork
Calls are being made for a dedicated ambulance for critically ill children across Cork.
The ambulance which is known as a Bumblette transports sick children to locations across the country for treatment.
As part of a fundraising drive a Twilight Walk will take place in Fota Wildlife Park next Thursday where the public will have the rare opportunity to see the park and animals by night.
Adam King from Killeagh is a user of the service.
The two-year-old was born with a rare brittle bone disease and requires medical treatment on a weekly basis.
Speaking to RedFM News his father David says many families in Cork need the service urgently:
