Gardai appeal for witnesses to fatal collision

Gardaí in Gurranabraher are appealing for witnesses following a fatal collision yesterday.
A man in his 40s died on the N22 Macroom Road near Ovens at around 11am when his car collided with a truck.
Gardaí are asking any road users who may have dash cam footage of the incident or who were travelling on the N22 between 10:50am and 11:15am to contact them at Gurranabraher Garda Station on 021 494 6200
The man is the 9th road user to die on Cork roads since the start of the year.
