Gardai are appealing for witnesses after cyclist dies following collision

A cyclist died in hospital yesterday following a collision with a car earlier this month
The 62 year old man was struck by a car at Lissanoohig just outside Skibbereen on Friday April 22nd.
He was taken to Cork University Hospital after sustaining seriours injuries but died yesterday afternoon.
Gardai are appealing to anyone who may have witnessed the incident to contact them at either Skibbereen Garda Station on 028-23088 or Clonakilty Garda Station on 023-8821570.
The incident brings to five the number of people who died on Cork roads so far this year.
