Gardai Are Questioning A 39-Year-Old Man Following The Discovery Of €150,000 Worth Of Drugs In North Cork Earlier Today

Gardai are questioning a 39 year old man following the discovery of €150,000 worth of drugs at a remote rural location in North Cork earlier today.
Officers from the North Cork and Limerick Divisional Drugs Squads uncovered a stash of seven kilos of cannabis weed during a search of a house and lands at Araglin outside Mitchelstown.
They arrested the man at the property and brought him to Henry Street Garda Station in Limerick for questioning about the drugs which gardai believe were destined for the Cork and Limerick markets.
Gardai believe the drugs were being stored at the remote rural location for distribution in the coming weeks and have hailed the seizure as a significant blow against a local criminal organisation.
