Gardai Examine Car Stolen In Carrignavar Raid
Gardai are hoping forensic tests on a stolen car will help them track down an armed gang who tied up and robbed a woman in Carrignavar on Wednesday night. Garda technical experts yesterday carried out a forensic examination of a black Lexus which was stolen from the victim's home in Dromboy South. The three man gang took the woman's Lexus to make their getaway after stealing almost €20,000 in the raid. The car was found abandoned at a concrete manufacturing premises in Killeens near Blarney at around 9.30am yesterday morning - some ten miles away from the burglary.
