Gardai Have Arrested A Man After He Was Suspected Of Returning To A Bank He Attempted To Rob Hours Earlier
The man demanded money from the AIB bank on Douglas Road
The man in his early 40s used an imitation gun in an attempt to rob the bank on Wednesday.
He left empty handed, and Gardai believe the same man returned later, and was arrested at the scene.
The suspect was later charged and is due to appear before Cork District court today.
