Gardaí Have Executed A European Arrest Warrant On A Man And A Woman In Portugal

They are due in court in Bantry in connection with a cannabis seizure in West Cork in January 2016
A man and a woman are appearing in court in Bantry this afternoon in connection with the discovery of a cannabis grow house in West Cork - after being extradited from Portugal.
Gardai discovered 187 thousand euro worth of cannabis herb and plants at a house in Dunmanway in January 2016.
The man in his 30's and the woman, who is in her 20's, were arrested in Lisbon yesterday.
