Gardai Have Launched A Murder Investigation Following A Post Mortem Examination Of The Body Discovered In A House In The City Centre

The body was discovered on Saturday morning
Gardai were called to a house on the Bandon Road around on Saturday, where they discovered the body of Paul Jones aged 55.
It's understood the man was originally from Mayfield, and was found by his son, who called to the house having been unable to reach his father by phone.
A post mortem examination took place yesterday, the results of which cannot be releeased due to operational reasons, however Gardai have launched a full murder investigation and it's understood Mr. Jones received multiple injuries.
