Gardai In Cork Investigating Assault In Carrigaline In The Early Hours Of Sunday Morning
They are continuing to appeal for witnesses in the area on Sunday morning
The man, aged in his 40s, sustained multiple injuries to his face but did not need hospital treatment.
No arrests have been made as of yet, however Gardai have confirmed to RedFM News that investigations are continuing this afternoon.
They are appealing for any witnesses to the assault or anyone with any information to contact Togher Garda Station on 021 4947120 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.
