Gardai in Mayfield have issued a warning to householders to ensure their homes are kept secure following a spate of break-ins and car thefts over the past week
A total of 11 break-ins and thefts from houses took place in the Glen and Blackpool areas since the 24th of July, all of which took place between midnight and 4 o'clock in the morning.
