Gardai In Tipperary Are Investigating 2 Separate Fatal Road Crashes In The Past 24 Hours
One pedestrian and one driver have died
A pedestrian in his early 50s has died following a single-vehicle crash in Clonmel.
A woman in her 70s had been driving on Gladstone Street yesterday afternoon, when she struck a pole which then hit the male pedestrian.
The man was taken to South Tipperary Hospital with serious injuries, but passed away early this morning.

While in Thurles, a woman in her mid-60s has died following a collision with a truck in the early hours of this morning.
The woman was fatally injured on the N62 near Thurles and her body has been removed to University Hospital Limerick.
The driver of the truck, a man in his mid-40s, was uninjured in the incident.

Meanwhile, Cork's North Division has recorded 6 fatal accidents in the area in the past month.
The Echo reports that road traffic Gardai in the Cork North Division has fallen by over a third in recent years, dropping from 34 to 20 active Gardai in the road policing unit.
