Gardai Out In Force For Bandon Music Festival

Today is the last day of the festival
Gardaí say that they're out in force this weekend for the Bandon Music Festival and will not tolerate any underage drinking on buses coming into the town.
As part of the policing plan, Gardai have been liasing with bus companies for a number of weeks now and have stressed that any offences committed on buses will be dealt with.
This follows recent years where drunk teenagers come to the festival in large groups, putting pressure on local emergency services.
Speaking to RedFM News, Inspector Brian Murphy has appealed to bus operators to work with Gardaí, and they've reminded teenagers that they're accountable for their own actions.
