Gardaí Renew Appeal For Witnesses Following Robbery In Macroom On Tuesday

A woman in her early 90s was taken to Cork University Hospital after she was knocked to the ground while walking in the Castlegrounds with another woman in her 60s.
The woman in her 60s had her handbags stolen by two men who then fled on foot into Macroom Gold Club and onto the road at Sleeven Upper.
The woman in her 90s was brought to CUH with minor injuries.
Gardaí have described the suspects as both being tall, thin and in their late teens or early 20s.
Anyone who may have seen the two men in the Castlegrounds, the golf club or at Sleeven Upper is asked to contact Gardaí in Macroom on 026 20590
