Gardai Say Being Prepared For The Road This Winter Could Save Lives
The Cork/Kerry Winter Ready campaign was launched in the city earlier
15 people were killed on Cork roads last year- the most of any county in Ireland while so far this year 11 people have died in the city and county.
Speaking to RedFM News, Inspector James Hallahan of the roads policing unit at Anglesea Street Gardai says winter is a particularly treacherous time for road users:
