Glasgow and Cork unite in grief over the death of Karen Buckley
The parents of Cork student Karen Buckley have returned home to Mourneabbey to prepare for the funeral of their daughter whose body still remains in Glasgow. John and Marian Buckley flew home from Edinburgh on Saturday evening after being informed by Scottish authorities it would be a number of days before they would release their daughter's body as the legal team for the man charged with her murder could request an independent post-mortem. Meanwhile, thousands turned out to attend two vigils which were held in George Square in Glasgow over the weekend for Karen Buckley and her family. Irish Times Southern Correspondent Barry Roche attended the vigil and he told the Neil Prendeville Show that Karen's parents were very grateful for the support shown over the weekend.
