Government accused of deliberately misleading the public about the scale of homeless crisis
Latest figures show almost 5,000 adults and 2,800 children were staying in emergency accommodation
Recent figures have shown the number of homeless adults in Cork has reached 295 in the past 12 months an increase of 38.5%.
But Sinn Féin says that doesn’t include those staying in domestic violence refuges or those in direct provision who’ve been granted asylum.
