Government formation talks enter day eight

The eighth day of government formation talks between Fianna Fáil, Fine Gael and the Greens will get under way shortly.
They'll discuss Irish language, arts and heritage this morning, and foreign affairs in the afternoon.
The parties are hoping to have a draft programme for government in place by the end of the month.
But Fianna Fáil senator Eugene Murphy says another general election is also a possibility.
"I wouldn't rule it out, but I think if a programme could be agreed, and was agreed by the grassroots of the organisations it is the best way forward.
"But certainly you can't rule anything in or out at the moment."
