Government Names New Chief Justice

The Government has named Frank Clarke as its pick to become the new Chief Justice.

He'll take over the role next month, succeeding Susan Denham who'll reach the mandatory retirement age.

Mr Justice Clarke has been in the judiciary for 13 years, and has been heavily involved in re-defining the Supreme Court's workload since the creation of the Court of Appeal.
