Government warned about an 'avalanche' of post office closures
It comes as the postmasters union has pulled out of talks with An Post about their future
They held a protest outside the Department of Communications earlier.
An Post for their part say the talks were productive and positive and that they look forward to starting them again.
But many postmasters say they're tired of being left in the dark about their futures.
Finbarr O'Regan is the postmaster in Sunday's Well, his office closed for 15 months, but re-opened after pressure from the public.
Finbarr says he will keep it open as long as possible despite the difficulties.
