Group vow to continue campaign against incinerator

The comments come as a fresh application for the facility is set to be launched this month.
A group of residents in the Lower Harbour area have vowed to continue their fight against an incinerator being built in Ringaskiddy.
The comments come as a fresh application by Indaver to An Bord Pleanala for the proposed development is due to be launched this month, following a failed application four years ago.
Cork Harbour Alliance for a Safe Environment have hit out at the proposed 160 million euro waste-to-energy facility saying the site in unsuitable.
The proposed incinerator would have a capacity to accept 240,000 tonnes of household, commercial, industrial and hazardous waste each year.
Speaking to RedFM News, CHASE Chairperson Mary O' Leary says despite the long running campaign against the facility, their campaign will continue.
