Half of people plan to borrow for Christmas

50 percent of Irish consumers are planning to borrow money to fund Christmas. The annual Christmas Survey from the Irish League of Credit Unions also reveals that most of those who plan to borrow from moneylenders are aged 18 to 34. Consumers are planning to spend more on Christmas than last year and more people are shopping online.
