Health Minister dismisses proposal of free annual checks

The Health Minister has dismissed the idea of having free annual checks for everyone. The proposal was put forward as a suggestion to tackle the overcrowding problem in the country's hospitals. But Leo Varadkar says international research states that the practice is not a good idea. It comes as the INMO prepares to stage a protest outside the Dail tomorrow afternoon over hospital overcrowding.
