HIQA report into Cork hospital found areas of non-compliance
                            The inspection was carried out at St. Finbarr's Hospital.
A HIQA report into the care home operated at St Finbarr's hospital found that the facility was majorly non-compliant in three areas - safeguarding and safety, health and safety and risk management, and safe and suitable premises.
St Finbarr's Hospital comprises of five units with large institutional type buildings and has accommodation for 89 residents.
The inspection was conducted in May and found that significant improvements were required, most notably in safeguarding practices and in the design and layout of the premises.
