Hold onto receipts for those unwanted gifts

The Consumers' Association of Ireland is reminding people to hold on to receipts in case they want to return or exchange an unwanted gift after Christmas.
However, the consumers' rights group says shops are not obliged to offer a refund unless an item is faulty.
The CIA says at this time of year some shops will offer exchanges or credit notes out of good will.
Dermot Jewell from the Consumers' Association of Ireland, says items should be returns as soon as possible:
