Home Appliance To Blame For Grenfell Tower Fire
The Grenfell Tower fire in London started in a fridge freezer.
The Hotpoint model hadn't been subject to any product recall and further tests are now being carried out.
In a statement, Whirlpool, which owns Hotpoint says 'words cannot express our sorrow at this terrible tragedy' and that it's working with authorities.
The building's insulation and cladding have also failed safety tests.
Police say they're considering manslaughter charges.
The number of people thought to have died in the fire remains at 79.
Detective superintendent Fiona McCormack says the insulation used in the building was also combustible:
