Hopes Dockland Development Will Attract More International Business Leeside
A new €1 billion development on Cork's Docklands will make the city more attractive to international businesses'.
That's according to the Lord Mayor Cllr Tony Fitzgerald who says the project will showcase Cork as an ideal location for any employer or employee to pursue a world class career.
The project comprising of two schemes on the City Docks and Tivoli Docks will double the size of the city, and will provide 9,500 housing units as well as transforming the area into a dynamic urban quarter.
The lack of rental housing available for employees in the city, has been an issue for businesses' Leeside in the past.
However Speaking to RedFM News Lord Mayor Cllr Tony Fitzgerald says the new development will encourage new business and allow expansion of established companies in the city:
