Hopes high that the Shandon Clock will be repaired by September

It's hoped the Shandon Clock will be repaired by the end of September. The clock stopped working about nine months ago and despite the issue being raised with the City Council it remained out of action until RedFM launched a campaign to raise the cash needed to fund the repairs as the Council said it didn't have the funding available until next year.. However in May the Council did a u-turn and announced that finance was now in place to repair the clock and awarded the repair contract to the city based Stokes Clocks and Watches Work on the Shandon Clock has been ongoing since the middle of June and speaking on the Neil Prendeville Show Philip Stokes says the repair is progressing well Press PLAY button above to listen to the audio
