House Prices Around The Country Start To Fall But Prices In Cork City Buck The National Trend

House prices in Cork city are up 0.8% with the average house price now €278,021 .
A new report by Daft.ie shows Ireland is finally achieving a balance between newly built owner-occupier housing and the number of households able to afford to buy them.
Ronan Lyons, economist at Trinity College Dublin and author of the Daft.ie Report, says the average price of a house in Cork county is now €218,346 - a drop of 0.8% however prices in Cork city are up 0.8% with the average house price now €278,021 .
