Housing and health are topping the calls for extra spending, as lobby groups continue to set out their demands ahead of Tuesday's budget. 

There's an expectation that income tax will undergo modest reductions in Budget 2019 while the country's Rainy Day Fund is also expected to get a boost. 

Fianna Fail's calling for a cut in the Universal Social Charge to help middle income earners, along with an increase in the threshold at which people start paying the higher rate of income tax - while the Labour Party says those on the lowest incomes should be prioritised.
