Housing Minister says Martin had no other choice but to sack Cowen
The Housing Minister says the Taoiseach had no other option but to sack Barry Cowen.
He was let go as Agriculture Minister last night after he refused to provide further public statements on his 2016 drink driving offence.
He was in the job for just 18 days and his replacement is set to be announced later today.
Darragh O’Brien says Micheál Martin was left with no other choice.
