HSE agrees on deal with makers of cystic fibrosis drug Orkambi and Kalydeco

600 CF patients have the potential to benefit from the new drugs
The health minister's announced that Orkambi and Kalydeco will be provided for cystic fibrosis patients from next month.
The Health Service Executive and manufacturers Vertex have reached agreement in principle - it now just needs to be signed off by lawyers on both sides.
The deal will also see other drugs for other ages of those with CF once authorised in Europe.
Minister Simon Harris says it's good news for CF patients.
