Huge support for Cork victim of sexual harassment
Laura Duncliffe was left humiliated when a man pulled her skirt up around her as she walked down Washington Street
A woman who was sexually harassed on Washington Street last weekend has reported the incident to Gardai after she told her story on the Neil Prendeville Show.
20 year old Laura Duncliffe says the overwhelming support she has received since telling her story has motivated her to report the matter.
Last Sunday night Laura was left shocked and humiliated when a man pulled her skirt up around her as she walked down Washington Street with her friends.
She said the incident was "eating away" at her the next day so she shared her experience on Facebook and the status has since been shared hundreds of times.
Laura says she was prepared to brush it off and move on, however she says the reaction from people has changed her attitude and she now feels brave enough to take a stand.
And this is the moment that Laura described her experience on the Neil Prendeville Show.
