Humanitarian Aid Begins To Enter Gaza Following 11 Days Of Violence
The ceasefire between Israel and Palestinians militants is holding
However, there's calls for longer-term peace talks after 250 people were killed in the conflict.
Protests in solidarity with the Palestinian people will take place in Irish cities and towns this afternoon.
Shona Murray, Europe correspodent with Euronews, says Gazans live in hellish conditions:
"It's worse for Gazans because obviously they've been blockaded in for over a decade. We've seen it with various offences for the Israeli defence forces. You have 2 million people in Gaza in a very small confined area that have to deal with Israeli bombardment and also have to suffer under the rule of Hamas as well."
