Hundreds gather outside City Hall as CervicalCheck protest gets underway

Hundreds have gathered outside City Hall this evening calling on the Health Minister to step down amid the ongoing CervicalCheck scandal.

It's the second protest that has been held Leeside in wake of the scandal which has claimed the lives of 18 people including two here in Cork.
Today it emerged in the High Court that the HSE has yet to admit full liability regarding the false cervical smear results given to Kerry woman Emma Mhic Mhathúna - who is now terminally ill.
That's despite the Taoiseach previously stating that none of the women affected by the Cervical Check scandal would have to go to court.
Protester Noreen Murphy is there and she told RedFM News that she's hoping today's demonstration will send a message:
