Hundreds to travel from Cork to join national anti-water charges protest
Hundreds of people are expected to travel from Cork to Dublin today for a major demonstration against water charges. The march is taking place outside Leinster House at lunchtime. Organisers are urging people to join in the evening time if they can't make it earlier in the day. Meanwhile members of Detroit Water Brigade - a US group dedicated to fighting water charges - will travel to Cork tomorrow touring estates in Cobh to show their solidarity with people opposed to Irish Water’s metering.
