Hundreds without power Leeside after overnight thunder and lightning
A number of power outages have been reported across Cork this morning following thunder and lightning storms and heavy downpours overnight.
122 are off the grid in Ballydehob, 56 in Barley Cove and Goleen, 37 in Kilmoney, 92 in the Timoleague area.
Bandon is also badly affected and 182 are without power there.
90 households are without power in the Bealnablath area and 72 are affected in Macroom.
Meanwhile motorists are being advised to take extreme care this morning.
Spot flooding has been reported in a number of areas across the county, in particular on the N71.
Cork City Council issued an orange weather warning last evening however gardaí say they don't expect and major flooding incidents in the city centre this morning.
