Icelandic Budget Airline Wow Air Has Collapsed And Gone Out Of Business
The company failed to finalise an equity deal with investors this morning
Earlier this morning the airline postponed all flights while documentation for an equity deal was finalised.
However, the company has since posted that WOW Air has ceased operation and that all flights have been cancelled.
This includes all WOW Air flights between Dublin and Reykjavik. Passengers are being advised to check alternative flights with other airlines.
The privately-owned airline, founded in 2011, posted a pre-tax loss of almost $42m for the first nine months of 2018.
