Increased Cost Of 3rd Level Taking It's Toll Leeside As Some Students Struggle To Feed Themselves
That's according to the Students Union Welfare officer at UCC who was speaking as the Union launch a new food bank service.
The service was trialed last week with 7 students and aims to support up to 20 students a week going forward.
Speaking to RedFM News, Naoise Crowley from UCC Students Union says financial hardship has been an issue for a number of years, however the union are now dealing with more and more students who are struggling financially:
