INMO accuses HSE of under reporting on the hospital "trolley crisis"
700 patients were on trolleys at three Cork hospitals last month.
The Irish Nurses and Midwives Organisation claim the HSE are under reporting the number of patients on trolleys in hospitals across the country - including some Cork hospitals.
Patsy Doyle of the INMO made the comments following the release of the union's figures which show that over seven hundred patients were on trolleys at Cork University Hospital, Bantry General Hospital and Mercy University Hospital last month.
The figures also show that almost 9,000 patients were on hospital trolleys nationwide, however the HSE disputes this figure.
Speaking to RedFM News, Patsy Doyle says the union have been maintaining their own record on the figures:
