Inquest into death of French man in Hit and Run in Cork adjourned
 
                            An inquest into the death of a young Frenchman killed in a hit and run incident in the city centre over three years ago has been further adjourned because the suspect remains out of the country.
The court heard that Gardaí are still investigating the death of Gabriel Jean Lech in the hit and run incident on George's Quay on October 31st 2013.
The 25-year-old died after he was struck by a white Ford Transit van which did not stop on Georges Quay in Cork at 9.30pm on the night in question.
Cork City Coroner, Philip Comyn adjourned the inquest to May 11th 2017.
