Investigation Continues Into Double Shooting In Dublin

Investigations are continuing this morning after a double murder in Dublin yesterday.

A mother of 6 and a man in his 30s were shot dead in Ballymun's Balbutcher Drive which remains sealed off this morning

Reports suggest the target was a known criminal, but he escaped uninjured.

It's understood the attack is connected to an ongoing local feud

Local Deputy Róisín Shortall says yesterday's horrific gun attack  is a 'chilling reminder' of the extent of gun crime on Dublin's streets.

The co-leader of the Social Democrats says she has grave concerns about the impact of the fatal attack on the local community.
