An investigation is underway into the death of a child in County Louth yesterday afternoon.
The 7-year-old was involved in an incident involving a car in the driveway of a house in Drogheda.
Emergency services rushed to the scene and the young girl was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital which is nearby.
She was later pronounced dead.
