Investigations Into Glanmire Death
Gardai have requested that a post-mortem be carried out on the body of elderly woman found in a house in Co Cork yesterday as a precautionary measure. The body of the woman - who lived alone - was found in a house in the Glanmire area yesterday evening at around 7pm after neighbours alerted gardai. Neighbours had become concerned when they hadn't seen the woman for a number of days and notified gardai who discovered the woman dead in the house. However there was no sign of any forced entry and gardai do not believe that there was anything to suggest that there was anything suspicious about her death.
